Fabric conditioner left in fabric conditioner compartment

Fabric conditioner is left behind in the fabric conditioner compartment within the detergent drawer of the washer-dryer. Water is used to flush liquid products through during dispensing.

It is normal for a small amount of residual water to be left behind in the fabric conditioner compartment.

No remedy required.

The fabric conditioner is very thick or clumpy.

Unlike detergent, fabric conditioner has a shelf life of 2 years.

If the fabric conditioner is very thick or clumpy, this means it is too old. This out-of-date fabric conditioner should no longer be used.

Remove the remaining fabric conditioner from the fabric conditioner compartment within the detergent drawer.

Clean the siphon and fabric conditioner channel thoroughly.

The siphon and fabric conditioner channel are clogged.

Pull out the detergent drawer until resistance is felt.

Press the release button.

Remove the detergent drawer.

Clean the detergent drawer with warm water.

Liquid starch can cause deposits and blockages.

Clean the siphon and fabric conditioner channel thoroughly after repeated use of liquid starch.

Pull the siphon out of the fabric conditioner compartment.

Rinse the siphon thoroughly under warm running water.

Clean the siphon tube in the same way.

Clean the fabric conditioner channel using a brush and warm water.

Put the siphon back in place.

Use a bottle brush to remove detergent residues and limescale from the nozzles inside the detergent drawer.
