After switching on, the robot vacuum cleaner switches off again immediately.
The rechargeable battery no longer works and must be replaced.
Replacing the rechargeable battery
Keep a spare original Miele lithium-ion rechargeable battery to hand for your robot vacuum cleaner.
Original Miele accessories are available from the Miele online shop, Miele Customer Service and from your Miele dealer.
RX2 and RX3:
The rechargeable battery compartment is located in the robot vacuum cleaner’s storage compartment.
Open the storage compartment.
Remove the dust box.
Open the rechargeable battery compartment by unlatching the cover upwards.
RX2/RX3-YCR-M05 (RX2/RX3 60 lithium-ion battery):
Carefully pull the mains connection cables so that the plug connection is pulled out of the slot.
Press the retainer on the plug connection in order to release the plug.
Remove the rechargeable battery.
Insert the plug of the new rechargeable battery into the counterpart, making sure it clicks into place.
Insert the rechargeable battery carefully, making sure it is properly positioned (see right-hand side of picture).
Store the plug connection in the slot at the side.
RX2/RX3-YCR-MT12 (RX2/RX3 120 lithium-ion battery for Runner and Home Vision):
Carefully remove the rechargeable battery using the opening tag until the plug connection is exposed.
Press the retainer on the plug connection in order to release the plug.
Remove the rechargeable battery.
Insert the plug of the new rechargeable battery into the counterpart, making sure it clicks into place.
Store the plug connection in the side recess.
Insert the rechargeable battery carefully, making sure it is properly positioned (see right-hand side of picture).
Carefully refit the cover of the rechargeable battery compartment and close it, making sure it clicks into place.
Dispose of the battery at a suitable waste collection/recycling centre.
RX1 (YCR-M05):
Place the robot vacuum cleaner upside down on a level, clean surface.
Do not lift the robot vacuum cleaner by the area around the dust box as it can come loose.
Unscrew the cover of the rechargeable battery compartment on both sides with a cross-tip screwdriver.
Carefully remove the battery. Press the retainer on the plug connection in order to release the plug.
Insert the new rechargeable battery.
Close the battery compartment cover and tighten the screws.
Dispose of the battery at a suitable waste collection/recycling centre.
A software fault has occurred.
