Triflex not starting up

The Triflex does not start when it is switched on.

The battery is not inserted.

Insert the battery as follows:

Remove the sticker from the battery.

Push the battery along the guide lines until it audibly clicks into place in the PowerUnit.

If you want to separate the parts again, press both release buttons at the side of the battery to remove the battery.

The battery is not inserted correctly.

Check that the battery is positioned correctly.

The rechargeable battery is not sufficiently charged.

Charge the battery without wall mounting.

You can store the vacuum cleaner upright and charge the battery directly:

Connect the PowerUnit to the electrobrush to provide a secure base for the vacuum cleaner.

Swing the vacuum cleaner forwards until the electrobrush connector audibly clicks into place.

Plug the charging plug of the supplied charging cable into the charging socket on the bottom of the battery.

Plug the charger into a power socket.

The charging process will start.

Charge the battery with wall mounting:

Slide the PowerUnit of the fully assembled vacuum cleaner, with the battery inserted, down into the wall bracket from above.

For United Kingdom and Ireland: plug the supplied charging cable into the charging socket on the bottom of the battery.

Plug the charger into the power socket.

The charging process will start.

An original Miele battery has not been inserted.

Insert the original Miele lithium-ion battery.

The charging plug is still plugged in.

Pull the charging plug out of the charging socket on the battery.

The battery is in idle mode.

After a downtime of 10 minutes, the battery switches to energy saving mode. If movement is detected, the acceleration sensor reactivates the battery.

Move the vacuum cleaner.

The acceleration sensor detects that the vacuum cleaner is moving and the normal operating status is restored.

The battery was not placed in the PowerUnit when charging it for the first time.

Insert the battery into the PowerUnit.

Plug the charging plug of the charging cable into the charging socket on the bottom of the battery.

Plug the charger into a power socket.

The battery charging state is displayed on the PowerUnit.

Check the “Battery charging state” indicator on the front of the PowerUnit.

When the battery is fully charged, the top, middle and bottom indicators light up.

If the battery is not yet fully charged, charge it in the PowerUnit until all the indicators light up.

Unplug the charging cable from the battery and from the socket.

The vacuum cleaner is now ready to be used.
