Appliances not shown in app

The Miele appliances are not shown in the Miele app.

You have set up different user accounts on your mobile devices.

You are using several mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) in your home network.

Use the same user account to log in on all mobile devices.

Incomplete electronic data plate (serial number).

The smartphone/tablet must be connected to the Miele domestic appliance’s access point (own WiFi) when the appliance electronic data plate needs to be checked. The menu navigation can vary depending on the domestic appliance and what equipment and software it has.

Option 1: Open the domestic appliance WiFi on the domestic appliance – Option 1

  • Select  Settings > Miele@home > Set up > Connection method Via app.

Option 2: Open the domestic appliance WiFi on the domestic appliance – Option 2

  • Select  Settings > Networking on.

The WiFi of the Miele domestic appliance opens.

Option 3: Reset the XKM 3100 W WiFi module:

  1.  Switch on the Miele domestic appliance.

  2. Select the  Settings > Miele@home > Module settings > Start module activity > Restart with factory default settings menu.

    The XKM 3100 W communication module restarts and opens the domestic appliance WiFi for 30 minutes.

  3.  Switch the Miele domestic appliance off and on again.

  4. Select  Settings > Networking on.

The WiFi of the Miele domestic appliance opens.

Option 4: Reset the XKM 3100 W WiFi module (see above) without steps 3 and 4.

Tap  Settings > WiFi > Miele domestic appliance WiFi.

  • The name of the Miele domestic appliance WiFi network is always: Miele@home appliance type; for example: Miele@home-G 7565 SCVi XXL-7.

    If the domestic appliance WiFi is not displayed, check the WiFi signal strength at the installation site of the domestic appliance.

    If the appliance model is not displayed correctly, the electronic data plate has not been completed correctly. In this case, the electronic data plate must be corrected by a service technician. Please contact Miele Customer Service.

  • If the name of the domestic appliance WiFi corresponds to the aforementioned pattern, proceed with the following steps.

 Establish a connection to the domestic appliance WiFi: when prompted, enter the serial number of the Miele domestic appliance as the password for the domestic appliance WiFi.

  • If the connection was successful, the electronic data plate is OK.

  • If the connection was not established despite correct input, the electronic data plate has not been completed correctly. In this case, the electronic data plate must be corrected by a service technician. Please contact Miele Customer Service.

 Disconnect from the domestic appliance WiFi and delete or ignore the domestic appliance WiFi.

 Reset the XKM 3100 W WiFi module, see above.

A correction has been made to the customer data.

Log out of the Miele app.

Log in again on the Miele app with your login details.

The home network ID (Group ID) does not match other appliances in your user account.

Reset the network settings on your appliance.

Network (pair) the appliance again.
